Only 5% of the total waste produced nationwide are recycled in 2008
Facts: Malaysia generates about 14 thousand 3 hundred and 78 tonnes [14378 tonnes] of waste in 2008. Thats means only 718.9 tonnes are recycled. and the rest 13659.1 tonnes end up in the landfills. and you know how stinks landfills are.
